Adem\u00e1s, los costos asociados a la <strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">atenci\u00f3n de emergencias<\/span><\/strong>, recuperaci\u00f3n de las \u00e1reas afectadas y restauraci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas pueden representar una carga importante para las administraciones municipales y las comunidades. Tambi\u00e9n puede ocasionar degradaci\u00f3n y erosi\u00f3n del suelo, alterar los ciclos naturales del agua y disminuir la capacidad de los ecosistemas para prestar servicios ambientales. El humo puede desplazarse hacia zonas urbanas y aumentar la concentraci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas en el ambiente, reduciendo la visibilidad y generando molestias respiratorias, especialmente en personas sensibles. La presencia de humo, cenizas, olores desagradables y reducci\u00f3n de la visibilidad puede generar incomodidad y alterar las actividades cotidianas.
